Getting ready to load the kiln.
Several girls are waiting.
Getting her in the kiln was a bit of a challenge.
The posts are looking pretty salted about now. You can see the beginnings of my army of Persimmon Women! Remember how I was addicted to persimmons? Well, I became so allergic to them that I ended up in the hospital, but that is a story for another day. Now I am obsessing over persimmons in a different way....
This is before the door goes up brick by brick for 2 rows. I was so excited to have a beautiful day in the sun for being outside.

Hello Caroline,
I'm also a clay sculpture artist. Was so glad to find your blog. I love to see what others are doing. I invite you to my blog as well. I combine all the different art I create with some methods and also human interest stories and food. I consider cooking an art in itself.
I have just become a follower and will place a link to your blog on my right bar under "other interesting blogs"
My address is: http://www.healingwoman.blogspot.com or cheryldolby.com
Looking forward to your posts!
Best,
Healingwoman
