Open Studios

This last weekend and next is Open Studios in Boulder and 130 artists open their studios for visitors! My workspace was utter chaos until I got most stuff off the floor and it is amazing what that does for a room. Nonetheless, it still is pretty much utter chaos but I thought it might be interesting to see. Soon I will have an Urban Zen studio and everyone will be jealous. Ha.
Have a great week and if you are in Boulder, come by!

It must have been wonderful to see your studio and your enchanting work in person. I love the photograph of your pieces in silhouette at the window.

caroline, if i lived near boulder i'd come to your studio, and i'd hang out and have conversations with all of the clay Beings. i don't think i'd be concerned about seeing the other 129 artists at all... only you and your Beings...

Looks totally fantastic! I love the look of your busy studio. I wish I could be there for the tour. What do you do with that blow torch thing? (blinking :)

Hi Donna,
Thank you! The blow torch is for when I use wax or encaustic on clay (especially low fire work) and need to fuse it. I use all kinds of things besides glaze... paint, floor wax, inks, finger nail polish..fun!
